"We had a wonderful view from our room once the weather cleared up. Dinner reservations book up fast so I recommend booking in advance if you plan to have dinner there. The pub that is attached to the hotel was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to return. "

"Nice staff and rooms, but the communal parts of the property are quite dated. The pool wasn’t open during our stay due to heating issues which we were emailed about a week before but by then we had already booked excursions from Isle of Mull, ferries and travelled from far so it was too late for us to change all of this and we’d loose to much money. We were also surprised that you had to book a slot for the hot tub which was cleaned every other hour and completely emptied every three days according to maintenance man- this was extreme we felt as we have the exact same hot tub at home and have had for over 20 years and we have never been told we need to empty it every 3 days! The spa chill area behind the hot tub where you can sit inside and enjoy the view is also very small and there were several people walking in and out leaving the door to slam so hard, walking back and forth all the time to check the hot tub and it made for not so “chill” of a location so I just went back to my room. One thing I would like to say though is the massages were incredible. The two ladies that work there are extremely kind and skilled. I would definitely recommend getting treatments with them as it was certainly worth the money. "

"This hotel is definitely one of the nicer hotels in portree. The view from the hotel is fabulous and the restaurant of the same name is quite good as well."

"Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids (5 and under). The room was spacious and clean. Parking was convenient. Breakfast had minimal items which was in line with expectations from past reviews (milk, cereal, porridge, bread, jam, coffee). My only issue was the shower, the way it is heated doesn't provide flexibility to get the temperature correct (3 settings of cold, luke warm, burning hot). We only stayed one night so it was fine. "

"Impeccable service! We came with our dog and the staff is super friendly and have everything prepared even when the booking was made last minute. Very cozy atmosphere and a great experience "

"Clean room , welcoming staff. Breakfast was good. As for parking - small,tiny place so it's best to advice to park at the free car park past Asda Fuel station as I got stuck on the uphill whilst trying to get out of the hotel carpark as it was full. Maybe a sign "car park full" wouldn't go amiss."
