"We arrived early, hence asked about an early check-in. I was given 2 options…pay a $125 fee or upgrade for an additional $60/night. The upgrade was being pushed and we ended up taking it. It was really not much of an upgrade. Slightly more spacious and it had a balcony. The room was not fully cleaned when we got there (food crumbs and overturned cushions). They then re-assigned us to another room. The beds were double size compared to queen in most other hotels. They were comfortable though....

"Arrived at 3pm for check in as per hotel instructions…no room available. Was told I would receive a call when room was ready in about 30 minutes…no call so go back to desk at 4pm and it was like starting all over. No room ready, so naturally I push back this time and magically they found a room for me. In all my haste, I forgot toothpaste, so figured front desk would have some for sale..nope. For a mid priced hotel, I wasn’t impressed. I get better customer service at economy hotels."

"Overall, my stay at the Hyatt Regency hotel went very well. The location was fantastic. Areas of improvement could be the shower faucet, which was very difficult to get a consistent temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. The food in the restaurant in the main lobby was not very good. But there were many restaurants close by that were fantastic. Overall, the value was not bad, but I expected a little more from a Hyatt."
