"The hotel is located in Meiringen, which is connected to Interlakhen OST and Luzern by train. Lake Brienz is also pretty close to the property. The room was spacious, had all amenities. Though like many other Intrelaken Hotels, the hotel does not have AC, however, they provided table fan, which is sufficient. Hotel provides a free pass to ride to local cable car and public bus services. "

"This hotel is literally next door to the train station which runs Panoramic express trains every hour. It's really quiet in the rooms and you cannot hear the trains at all. It's super convenient to get to Lucerne or Interlaken. The hotel location itself in Lungern is so beautiful and definitely worth exploring and spending a day there too! The room was lovely and modern, had a stunning view of the mountains and the cleanliness and hygiene were of five star quality. The breakfast rooms were...
"Beautiful and updated property. It’s nice to have the modern juxtaposition with the authentic Swiss surroundings. The staff was so kind and offered amazing local suggestions. They treated everyone like they were the only guests there. We did everything Svenja mentioned and had the best time. Fun story how the brothers run this spot and their parents run the hotel next door. Will be back!"

"We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. "
