"We unfortunately found ourselves in Kerrville on the night of the 2026 flooding. We lost power several times and were without internet for the better part of the time. These were all out of control of the Hotel, but they made the best accommodations they could. Still had a hot breakfast."

"it’s more like staying at a fancy cabin at a park than it is staying at a resort, but if you come to hike and enjoy peace and quiet, you’ll love it just like we did. The only problem we had was there was no staff available, and we had no signal to call anybody, but once we figured out how to make the Wi-Fi work, it was fine.. just be aware, if you’re expecting fine dining and a spa day, you will be disappointed. This is rustic, out in the country, and you’re pretty much on your own."

"It is a retro type property. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The pool looked unusable as it was cloudy water. The beds were comfortable., but the room had a musty odor. Also, the water pressure was very low in the shower. Overall, it’s ok for what it is, but I probably would not stay there again."

"Our stay was great. Our room was very clean bed comfortable staff professional and friendly. However, in the bathroom one toilet paper half full and the other almost gone. The same for box of tissues which was almost empty."

"Very clean! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast each morning was wonderful. A variety of eats. You could adjust the temperature of the room to meet your needs. We will definitely staff at The Hampton Inn when we return to Fredericksburg."
