Sayang sekali penjelasan hotel kurang memadai
Saya baru mengetahui kalau shuttle airport gratis pas cek out. Pada saat kedatangan saya menggunakan taxi. Saat cek in dan kami sekeluarga akan ke creek street kami membayar untuk memakai tram yang menghubungkan antara hotel dengan creek street tersebut. Pas cek out baru kami tahu juga kalau itu free dengan menunjukkan kunci / kartu hotel. Pihak hotel tidak memberitahukan kepada kami pada saat cek in kalau itu free untuk tamu hotel, mereka hanya menunjukkan cara kami ke creek street.

Great place to stay!
Excellent hotel on hillside with great views of town and marina. Close to shopping and downtown, but with the tram out of service be prepared for lots of steps and a steep walking path (the shuttle was very willing to take folks places). Rooms were clean and spacious; very comfortable accommodations. The restaurant on-site had great food and lots of options. I’d recommend Cape Fox Lodge to anyone visiting Ketchikan.

Beautiful property built with natural exposure beam construction. Many Native American pieces of art on exhibit The front desk/reception staff and drivers were outstanding. They were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was incredibly good!! The restaurant was terrific, the best in town. There shuttle service around town was amazing and one of the main reasons I would go back again. The location was beautiful. Staff was so nice! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Loved how this lodge is perched on the hilltop, our room view was awesome and because tree tops were parallel several eagles entertained us whenever we were in our room. Restaurant is great with lots of options. The front desk staff and gift shop staff were terrific. Def recommend this lodge!

The property was beautiful! We stayed in ketchikan a couple of days and never needed a car. The lodge van was so accommodating on getting us where we asked. One of the drivers, Vicki, was fantastic, and so friendly.

Unique hotel
It was a heat wave when we got there and the tram or gondola wasn’t working so if you wanted to go downtown Ketichan without taking the shuttle you had a trail which was fine walking down but a steep walk upwards to get to the this hotel. It’s a unique hotel The shuttle van was great to get to the airport and pickup and if you stayed there in Cape Fox Lodge you could be picked up from a downtown location and get the shuttle back to this hotel. Nice bar and restaurant and gift shop too!

We were in a room located just above lobby. Music was coming too loud from the restaurant. We asked and begged to either stop the music or change us room. Nothing happened. Never going back. Also check in a disaster

We do apologize for your experience. We were completely sold out out that night, so unfortunately, there wasn't another room to move you to. There was a graduation party in our banquet room that had a live band and they played until 10pm on a Saturday night. We have signed contracts for such events like this throughout the year, so asking them to stop was not an option. You spoke with several managers regarding this matter and we tried to make things better. We apologize for your dissatisfaction.

Perfect stay
Fantastic location above Ketchican - amazing views with comfortable walk to town. Nicest hotel in Ketchican. Very quiet, comfortable bed, nice linens and friendly staff. Shuttle service to airport available. Restaurant with full menu - we had fish/chips! Yum... Relaxing. Small gift shop and many displays of indigenous art.

Best views of Ketchikan. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Nice lobby and sitting room with the fireplace. The tram was out of service when we were there, however we love a good hike. A few minutes up and down the staircase gets you into Creek Street and into town. We would stay again.

I can’t rave enough about Cape Fox! We stayed in a Mountain View room and it was beautiful! We were able to request a shuttle to pick us up from the ferry and from that moment we were sold. Ken was amazing and gave us a little tour of town before taking us to the lodge. He helped us with so much! Pam was also tremendous and helped us with any and everything! The restaurant inside the lodge was also a huge hit! We loved eating there and they had live music on Thursday! The view was amazing and the staff was amazing as well!! I can’t rate our experience high enough! It was a truly remarkable experience here!

Exceptional Customer Service!!! One of the men in our group had a medical emergency while staying at the lodge. The lodge offered and provided transportation to the local hospital. The man ended up having to have his gall bladder removed. the rest of our group had to leave him behind but three days later the hotel brought him his luggage and drove him to the ferry so he could join us in hunting camp. The Cape Fox Lodge is a wonderful property to retreat to in style when staying in Ketchikan. Although the most spendy lodgings in town, Cape Fox delivers in unmatched views, perfect location for walking the town, lovely rooms and a splendid restaurant to enjoy. I made frequent use of the funicular tram to travel down the steep embankment to walk around town. There's a walking trail if one prefers. The Lodge also delivered me by van a short distance to the nearby trail head to hike up a nice peak. The restaurant has a splendid menu, with views to match and a cozy fire after dark. I recommend the plank salmon dinner and crab dip appetizer. The Cape Fox Lodge is definitely the place for you if you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful stay in Ketchikan.

They racially profiled me and kicked me out of the hotel refused to refund my deposit or the money for the next night which I didn’t stay. Restaurant is nice but the food is horrible. So first off thank you for helping us advertise we protect our guest and our staff in a superior way. You were not asked to leave our hotel nor was the police called on you. Your guest are a different story. When police arrived you did not want them by your room and told them you would just check out. At no time did you talk with management during any of this. We hope you found a perfect place to move to while still in Ketchikan.

Great place if you are looking for old style lodge. During our stay the only item that we dod not enjoy was the hotel restaurant food. Few items were good, but several items are re-heated and not made fresh. Also not so good table servers.

This hotel is in a prime location and as such, you would think they would invest more in the infrastructure. Only some rooms are renovated (those are nice), but the older rooms are poor to average. Also, good service is spotty and staff should know basics like when to leave the hotel for the required ferry ride to the airport. No one knew on the day of my departure what time the ferry left, nor did night staff advise morning staff of van service needs. For a town that is hurting due to cancelled cruise industry, you would think staff would be ecstatic to have guests. Guess not...

I do not know what happened with the miscommunication regrading the shuttle. We have a shuttle log for everyday with departure times for the ferry written down. We do have a new person in training, maybe that is who you spoke with. I did see your name written down for the shuttle the next morning, so if you could shed some light on what happened, I would like to hear it.
