"The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. Our room was very pleasant ,though a “proper”wardrobe would have been appreciated.
Staff were very helpful and professional though if we were to mention one thing which we found a little odd ,was one female...

"The house was situated in the medieval village just down from the castle. The house was very clean and well-equipped. The hosts were gracious, helpful and very accommodating."

"Firstly, the chalet was very difficult to find. The host only gave us the instruction to check the map outside reception. After having to find a member of bar staff (as reception had closed by the time of our arrival), we were told this map had long been removed.
Secondly, the chalet had a mould issue. The cabin had a foul odour throughout of damp. There was mould on the curtains and around fixtures and fittings.
Thirdly, the shower did not drain quickly. By the end of your shower, you were up...
