"5 minute walk across the parking lot to the airport -- maximum convenience. Otherwise clean enough, nice enough restaurant/bar. Mainly stay for the smoothest imaginable trip to the airport not because it's the ritz carlton."

"The property is a ways up a narrow road from town but the property makes it worth the walk if you don't have a car. And the taxis have to come from Shannon so not readily available if not booked ahead. But the hosts are great and the property is very nice."

"The room was nice, clean, smelled really great every time I entered. I was only there for one night and I am a solo traveler but it had everything I needed. I don't think it's as close a walking distance to the town center as I did not go. "

"This hotel has a nice location on the river but is clearly suffering from poor management, the room was ok but the plastic glasses, the paper cups for tea and coffee and the toilet paper like shower towels showed that there was not a lot of care or class going on. The breakfast was terrible and overpriced, and to make it even worse the table and chairs in the dining room area were a complete mis match from height and size, the table was a good 6 inches higher than the chairs could accommodate. "Charming lodge updated with modern amenities. Walking distance to the University and central location for day trips to Galway, Ring of Kerry and Cork. Staff were friendly, helpful and top notch!"

"I stayed here Tuesday through Thursday in March and it was very quiet. They allowed me an early check in, also an early breakfast (cereal and coffee) It is very close to Arthur’s Quay ( excursion meeting point) St Mary’s church and the castle. The staff were pleasant."
