Great place to stay, it’s basic but clean and the staff was very nice. Food was great, the chili was so good. View was beautiful and siting by the river in the evening was peaceful.

Room 18 was great! The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly! Loved the chairs by the river and the convenience of both a store and small grill.

Loved the river next to the property. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Food was expensive. Need a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms. Not enough outlets.

Basic accommodations, nothing fancy, but perfect for exploring the area. The location is unbeatable - right on the river! With the market and little restaurant, we had everything we needed. I would happily stay here again!

Boiler went out and no hot water in the rooms. After hiking 4 days in the Back Country, Shower house tokens instead. :( other than that a Great Stay

It's a basic room in an older hotel at the very end of Kings Canyon. You are getting Location and several extra hours of Not driving to the Park. I used it for a Rae Lakes Loop Hike. 1 day before and 1 day after the Hike. I would do it all over again... Small Breakfast Counter with a Burrito that was delish. Small Store with Gifts and a Good Supply of Stuff to Eat and Drink. You are right on the Kings River as you see in the Pic.

We arrived an hour early and were able to check in with adjoining rooms. Beautiful location on King River with lounge chairs to enjoy the views outside. Picnic area is where you can use a propane camp stove to cookout. (No charcoal) Snack bar serves starbucks coffee and there is a cute gift shop with lower prices than the park shops. We enjoyed our stay, 2 elders a young couple and you g adults. I would be worried of the river if you had young children. And a note that the room doors lock from the inside- old fashioned push button on the handle.

It is the worst place I’ve ever stayed and wasn’t cheap either. Staff wasn’t friendly. We checked in at 5 and they gave us a room that was completely dirty and hadn’t been cleaned when I complained they just said sorry no offer to move our stuff or even offer us free coffee. Of course they don’t have to do anything because there are no other lodges nearby.
