"The room and hotel were not clean. The shower especially! The tv didn’t work and they were full so couldn’t move us to another room. We asked for a discount but they said because I paid through Expedia there was nothing they could do. We will not be back, we travel to this area once a month. No tv??? They should check these things. The property does not live up to the photos online. Buyer beware!!!"

I’m not sure if the room hadn’t been used in a while, but it’s not something I’m used to seeing when checking into a hotel. Sticky floors, stained sheets, dirt in all crevices, worst of all there was male genitalia drawn on the bathroom wall that my 6 year old asked me why someone drew that there, and second to that I was charged by Expedia the money came off my card just for the staff member to tell me my payment declined and I had to repay after arguing with him and showing him my itinerary # confirmation email and bank statements, he still refused to give me my room so I was double charged for...

"Love that breakfast was served until 1000. I am not an early riser so this worked out perfect for me. I also loved that each day there was a different choice of foods to choose from. I am allergic to a lot of foods and this was especially helpful to me. The front end associates were very nice and professional. We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back."

"Our stay at The Opal and West House was amazing! We stayed for a friend’s wedding and found traveling around the city extremely easy and quick while staying here. There was unfortunately an issue with our AC during the first day of our stay, but Lynsie was so accommodating ensuring us a perfect stay! We can’t wait to come back!"
