"Surprisingly charming little motel. Checkin staff was super friendly and helpful - offered us free bike and kayak rentals which was unexpected. It sits right on a little creek with pretty quick access to the sound. "The location was fantastic - beachfront. But the room - cheaply done, tiny bathroom, lumpy mattress, 1970s decor. The worst part - check in instructions were not clear at all. In tiny print in the reservation confirmation, buried.....check-in instructions. No one onsite. Was supposed to received a check in code but when I found a "help" number to call, I was told, "we send the check in instructions via text and no phone number was provided at booking."
