"Stayed in a club room, which is their best choice of room. Everything good would have liked a fridge in the room. Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Would stay again."

"The Gables has only been open 2 weeks. We were met with a warm welcome. Our room was comfortable and most importantly clean. We had a meal for dinner. Quite affordable and basic food. Think this area needs some tweaking. A most affordable stop over in Gretna."

"All good and hotel met expectations. Hotel is perhaps a little tired and in need of some refurbishment but rooms clean, beds comfortable and good shower, ideal for golf trip accommodation and reasonably priced. Only thing to watch out for is my room was next to the kitchen extractor fan that comes on at 7am so don’t expect a lie in if you are in room 6"
