"Our check-in process was smooth and the staff member on duty was very helpful. The first room that we were given was a complete mess. It had a broken dishwasher, the phones were not functioning or were missing cords, the refrigerator was dirty and still had food in it and the room was small and very dark. It was completely not what was expected from the descriptions and photos on the website. I went back to the front desk and told them about what we found and they quickly offered another room...

"The waterpark (slides, pool, kiddie pool) area was wonderful! Very family friendly. Staff was kind. We loved the pier as well. Had a flatbread from the restaurant that was great. The only thing we noticed was the walls were thin. We could easily hear our neighbors who were not loud people. Definitely a disappointment considering how expensive it is to stay here. But overall we loved it."

The shower was clean - the property was well maintained and having 2 parking lots was essential for our security. The reason for 3 stars is I was sold a “partial ocean view room” and I got a frosted glass slider, bolted shut, overlooking the buildings HVAC systems.
