"The room we stayed in on the 11th floor was clean, but it had a beaten vinyl floor like a college frat house. Other than that, the location was convenient and the stay was comfortable. I would stay here again."
"The hotel and location is great. Staff were very helpful. The rooms were not well maintained, somewhat dirty. I had to ask for a different room and pay for an upgrade to be comfortable. Restaurants are good. Pool was dirty."
"Incredible property, staff, location and experience.
The bath house / sauna was exceptional.
The workout gym area was essentially non-existent. That is the only downfall."
"We stayed at Halekulani Okinawa for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, impeccably maintained, and truly lives up to its five-star reputation.
One thing to note is that the spa was fully booked during our stay. Access to the natural hot springs is through the spa, so if you plan to use those facilities, I strongly recommend making reservations well in advance.
The resort offers four on-site restaurants, which provided excellent dining variety throughout our stay. The only drawback was that while most restaurants were able to accommodate a gluten sensitivity, the Japanese restaurant was unable to do so.
We visited in early June, and unfortunately the weather was not very cooperative. Based on our experience, I would suggest visiting later in June for a better chance of enjoying the outdoor amenities.
Overall, the property was outstanding, the service was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A true five-star resort that we would happily recommend."
"This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Okinawa. The room was very spacious, and the breakfast (the Japanese style one) was amazing. It’s also only minutes away from the famous blue cave snorkeling pick-up spot. Wonderful experience. Would definitely stay here again if I revisit Onna."
