"Extremely unprofessional front desk staff"

"Our room was on the 3rd floor and we were not told there was not an elevator. The sheets and blankets had holes. One cake of soap was provided. It was the size of a quarter and was for 2 people for 2 days. The mattress was very uncomfortable with a dip in the center. The furniture was very worn with torn chairs. The hotel does have a good location."

"Tub was chipping, light bulbs burnt out and on the stand some one mented something and they never bothered to clean it. We had to sweep as soon as we got in the room. Just not because of sand. I wouldve given a higher score if we did not pay 1295.00 for 4 nights. Also we had to take out the trash and go get towels. Too boot I booked this room almost 2 months ago and every other booking agancy had the rooms for 4 has $500 less than Expedia. Which normally are very good to use. The staff was...

The Beachcombers tiki bar is so awesome and the pool is so nice but… the mattress we slept on last night was not the most comfortable and I do understand that everyone has different preferences when it comes down to mattresses but we barely slept… well vacation is not for sleep, right ? but we are exhausted. Other than that we loved it! Please upgrade your mattresses 🙏 "

"Location great. A bird sanctuary across the road. Beach right behind hotel. Harris Teeter a couple miles up the road. 15 min drive from wild horse tours. 15 minutes from the Town of Duck. Staff very friendly. Free breakfast bar with good waffles."
