A-1 Budget Motel

"I have stayed here more than once because of how clean it always is, and I can park right outside my room. The fridge is a decent size, and has a usable freezer. I did not use the microwave (but there was one in the room), wifi, or TV. I did not have the breakfast, so cannot comment on any of those. However, the furniture was in great shape and the shower was warm with good pressure/spray. I especially liked the light controls and power outlets on each side of the bed, which were easy to get to. The only negatives were the noise from the freeway (they can't do anything about that, though) and there was no light source at the desk in the room. I will continue to stay here whenever I drive down to California."

"Tiny soap bars that are hard to use, the bathroom light would shut off after some amount of time; not great when in the shower. Room was spacious, excellently equipped with a full sized refrigerator, the A/C was great, the bathroom was large and newly renovated. However, there were no hand bars in the shower, nor did the shower contain any shelving for soap, shampoo, toiletries. Need was very nice, room was quiet. There's a very good restaurant just of the parking lot."

"The room was clean and efficient. We chose this place because it was off the beaten path. It took a little time to find it, but it was very quiet and clean. The woman who checked us in was very nice. The advertisements said it included continental breakfast. None was provided, only a few kurig coffees."

"Very nice and friendly staff! Very, very quiet stay even though the hotel was full over the Labor Day weekend. Great big rooms and very comfortable beds and pillows. The whole family slept great. Warm indoor pool and a hot jacuzzi. Typical but very good hotel breakfast which was well attended to by a nice man each day."
