his is a charming, ranch-style hotel set on a large property with a golf course, pool, and beautiful surroundings. The setting itself is relaxing and well-maintained, and overall the property has a lot of appeal. However, a good night’s sleep is unfortunately very difficult to achieve. The walls and ceilings are extremely thin—noise from the room above sounds like constant pounding and footsteps, and you can hear your neighbors’ TV with surprising clarity.
On a positive note, the restaurant is excellent. Both the food and the service were very good and definitely a highlight of the stay.
A couple of things to be aware of: the water bottles in the room are not complimentary (they cost $3.50 each), which was not clearly indicated. I was also surprised to see a $25 resort fee added to my bill, as this was not mentioned at check-in.
Overall, it’s a nice property with great amenities, but unless you’re on the top floor with no one above you, don’t expect a quiet night’s sleep.
