"Wir waren sehr positiv bei Ankunft von der Unterkunft überrascht. Aufgrund des niedrigen Preises hätten wir nicht geglaubt, so eine schöne Unterkunft zu finden. Das Zimmer war stilvoll eingerichtet und das Grundstück war sehr gepflegt. Es gab vor Ort außerdem ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück am morgen war ausreichend, die Auswahl war völlig ok. Die Ausgangslage war super, man konnte Restaurants fußläufig erreichen. Oudtshoorn hat mehr zu bieten, als wir dachten, beim nächsten Mal...

We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place"

"The ideal place to stay on the Garden Route as approximately halfway.However more importantly The Trading Place exudes a beautiful calm rustic charm, exemplifed by the host. The most delicious breakfast awaits you at a time of your choce, the bread is homemade. Highly recommended is their preordered pizza in the evening. "Our family stayed at Swartberg Country Manor for one night in February. The first thing that greeted us was the beautiful grounds, and restaurant with a stunning view of the mountain. Then we saw a beautiful historic house with a big old stoep; here we enjoyed 3 very comfortable rooms. And let me not forget the kind and professional staff, including their head chef who made the most wonderful 3 course dinner! A gem! Thank you for a lovely stay. "
