"The hotel has a commanding position in Wengen. The view of the mountains and valley are fantastic, and the common areas attract the guests to them. The hotel was clearly high-end decades ago, but has faded a bit. Some will find this charming, while others may not. The breakfast was excellent and should accommodate all tastes. The staff were outstanding, very personable and helpful."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even extended it by one day! Loved their breakfast , dining area, and the ability to use washer dryer. Rooms were comfortable and clean with breathtaking spectacular views. Best thing was accessibility to terminal for bus, train and gondola rides!"

"We enjoyed staying at the Derby Swiss Quality Hotel. It is very close to the train station and has a nice view of the mountains. The staff is friendly, and breakfast is served on time with a nice variety of options. The hotel is very close to the Coop grocery store. "

"Good breakfast, spa was nice, room was nice, though storage for ski stufclothing and luggage was limited. Ski room/lockers were good. Shuttle took us to train station and lifts. Good restaurant for dinner."

"The view was fantastic, the facilities were clean, and everything felt trustworthy. The friendly staff were also great. However, I felt very uncomfortable with a few staff members who seemed annoyed, spoke rudely, or behaved in a dismissive way. This is not a criticism of all the staff. Unfortunately, despite many things being good, I don’t think I would visit again. It’s a shame. Also, the breakfast on the first and second day was… honestly not great, while it was fine on the third day. It...

"Overall, lovely hotel and in a great location in the town centre. Spa and pool are the highlight. Room was comfy and fresh, think we had a updated room which was nice. It did however lack coat hooks and places to hang wet robes and towels...a basic that's missing. Breakfast was ok, it didn't quite hit expectations. Could have done with a few more hot options. Would definitely recommend. "
