Even so, they said the place was beautiful with an ocean view. I also contacted the property in advance to arrange something special for my mom’s birthday upon arrival, but I never received a response."

"The hotel is located near all historic sites. The hotel was clean, well maintained. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was professional and helpful. The room has an excellent AC. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena. The hotel has a small pool on the rooftop which is clean."

"Don’t stay here until they do major Reno’s. All the halls and rooms smell so bad of mold/dampness. They have fans going because they know it’s a problem but still sell the rooms. Staff is nice enough, rooms are clean enough, but nothing about this place is luxury/overcomes the smell. Our clothes still smell from the smell of this place. Breakfast was meh, nowhere near as good as you’d expect when you pay for a place like this, and the pool bar had nothing stocked that was on the menu. Skip and go elsewhere "
