"The pictures on this one were a bit old so the game area wasn't quite this nice... more suited to kids, but overall it wa s a nice space and Tru tends to be consistent. The service here was excellent and the breakfast was really well done. I espectially appreciated that those of us who came down to breakfast later didn't get cold leftovers. "My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and to venture in and around Portland. We had a great time. The beds were comfy and the room was nice and spacious.
The breakfast was the only issue as there were limited options. It would have been great if there was water and fruit available. Other than that, it was great."

"Very clean rooms. Seems to have been renovated recently. Continental breakfast was good. There is ample parking which is a plus. If I visit Maine again, this would definitely be a contender! "

"The Longfellow is a great option in Portland--it's quiet, comfortable, clean, and within walking distance of everything. It is not in the Old Port area, which made it more desirable to me, but it's only about a 15 minute walk to downtown and the port area. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay!"

"Fantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again."
