The staff was welcoming, the breakfast (mostly continental) delightful, the electric car charging easy, and of course, the location downtown bar harbor was perfect. "You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set."

"Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well."

"The Inn is so cute and cozy. The wallpaper in living room and dining room is eye catching and makes it feel like a home. I stayed in Room 11 and the bed so comfortable and there was plenty of room. It had a detached bathroom right across the hallway which was your own. I would stay here again when I come back up to Bar Harbor! You can walk to the village center in about 20 minutes "

"This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. What we couldn’t stand was the intense smell of bleach that make us cough and burned our eyes and sinuses. I don’t know what they were trying to cover up but it made us sick. I woke up in the middle of the night with my sinuses burning and got to sit outside at 3 am just to breath. I ended up with a severe...

"This place was exactly what I was looking for! It was extremely clean and the location was perfect. I was able to easily walk into town for dinner or shopping. They had fresh coffee and available snacks for your day every morning! Kina and Gwen made my trip extra special by helping me locate a E-car to get to Acadia since my rental car wasn’t available and Kina answered so many questions for me they both deserves a raise! Thank yall so much ! I will be back and I look forward to stay right back...
