"Great location just yards from the beach, as base for visiting nearby attractions such as bamburgh castle and Cragside. Rocky in parts but otherwise golden sand beach and again short walk to Seahouses. Just lovely seaside resort. Hotel staff friendly and food excellent with choice of dining room or lounge to relax. Would stay again."

"Lovely property, decorated in a lovely way although strong smell of fish downstairs that would not go. The fridge smelt of fish and not sure if this was the issue or the damp and mould on some of the walls.The beds were not super comfy but fine for a few nights. "Excellent food, attended a wedding function and tbh the staff looked overrun. Although the day was in general was excellent. Rooms not available for all guests until 15.00. This meant if travelling to a function from distance, there was very limited changing facilities. Think it could be better if there was an area that people could get changed in. That apart would recommend the hotel, as found the bedroom and facilities excellent."
