"Reception and staff are lovely. Beautiful property overlooking a cliff in the ocean. I know they are starting to think about renovation and remodeling and updating and upgrading. This will be a Lovely place to stay once they make the upgrades necessary to be safe and comfortable."

"This is the only place to stay in Santa Cruz or Capitola area. It was created from the original railroad station in Capitola. Each room is exquisite and unique. Sauger the general manager & his team are amazing. Fresh cook breakfast every morning either delivered to your room or seated in the lovely family room with Fireplace. Well appointed. "Overall the room was clean and more quiet than expected, given proximity to a busy road. Nice sized refrigerator for a motel room as well. Someone was smoking in the parking lot and that was unpleasant as we could smell it in our room. Otherwise the stay was good"

Unfortunately, the room we were given was not consistent with the photos of this property on Expedia and lacked basic amenities.
