"The person who checked us in couldn’t have been any nicer, especially since we accidentally booked the next night instead of the one we needed! The room itself was clean, quiet and well appointed. I was unaware that the hotel was undergoing renovations; I can overlook the cosmetics of that because it’s hard to renovate while still occupying and running normal operations. The next morning we were greeted with the coldest shower ever - there was ZERO hot water. Waited for a long time and still no hot water. We had to skip the shower. When we went to check out, the person who checked us out did not even apologize, but did acknowledge she was aware of the issue and was waiting for maintenance to come in. She said “it’s out of my hands” and “the manager may address it” but we have heard crickets since. Likely will never stay at a Premier Best Western again. "

"Not much of a variety left at 8am as there was a HUGE amount of construction personnel staying there. But I was surprised at how clean the room and generally the entire place was. The staff was extremely pleasant and had good conversation with a few I came in contact with. I stayed there last year and was very impressed with the updated rooms and lobby area. The only issue was that they are backed up to a Food Lion/ gym?/ small shopping area which was noisy till about midnight. Not the Lion but it’s definitely a hang out for local sport car enthusiasts. Walking distance to everything to eat. Italian place looked like a dump but was quite impressive for a NY’er. Price can’t be beat. Great value. "

"The hotel is new just 1 month old and I realize they need time to get the kinks out. It was very clean and the staff was great. The issue I had was with the room. The room was clean and spacious. The toilet backed up and the AC sounded like a freight train was in our room. The breakfast was terrific but watch out for the coffee cup tops. They pop off easy!"
