"The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)"

"The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast."

Man hat den Eindruck, dass seit mehreren Jahrzehnten kaum etwas renoviert oder modernisiert wurde. "It needs an update to compete at 5 star level. Mini fridge out of order - No cold drinks for us, usb outlets - only some work, AC kinda has its own plan on how to accommodate you. (It was cool enough but profoundly confusing and didn’t really seem To blow much.) staff in the lounge may or may not swing by and welcome you or offer you a drink. I don’t want you to think it’s bad, it’s not! We loved the atmosphere, the people, the beautiful buildings with some funny quirks. Just it takes more that...

"We really enjoyed our stay, staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout. The only improvement I would suggest is to have lockers when using the gym / steam room."

"This is a nice hotel in a nice area. The good choice of restaurants on the street are a plus. The rooms are clean and well presented, although the view was of the carpark and there are some maintenance issues like the slow draining sink which needs looking into. The reception staff were pleasant but didn’t give us any further information other than our room number. A huge disappointment though is how housekeeping do not stand by the hotels eco friendly practices - towels which are left hanging...

"The room, bathroom and the bed were comfortable and clean. I was a bit surprised the there were no 5V usb sockets in the room. The staff were friendly and efficient. The taxi booking service worked perfectly. The fire alarm went off three times on our second day but were cancelled in a few seconds each time."

"Staff weren’t the friendliest, but the hotel was beautiful. Huge eating areas and bar. Highly recommended, even though its kind of far from the tourist spots- cabs are lined up on the main road ready to take you where you want to go. It appears to be in a kind of wealthy, residential neighborhood. So many little pubs, restaurants, & markets all within walking distance."
