"The staff were courteous on arrival and gave us a tour of the beautiful building before showing us to our room. The house and surrounding environment were superb. The room was comfortable and clean albeit a little too warm at night.
Our breakfast was tasty and varied served by a very polite young lady.
We enjoyed our brief stay very much and would recommend it to others. "

"Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay."

- Upscale boutique hotel in Wetherby offers spa retreat, elegant rooms, fine dining near parks and racecourses.
"Stayed on 2 seperate nights in one week. Returned for 2nd night it was so good. Felt like we were minded like family. Left a bag behind and when i returmed next evening the receptionist offered me a cup of tea. I had driven a good distance and here was a person who could read how to treat and look after a guest in an empathetic way. Each and every staff member was polite and went over and above.
The food was delicious. Breakfast freshly cooked to order. Lovely pool and not overcrowded. Came away...
