"First impression when entering the lobby is rather dismal. But after getting off elevator, it’s a nicely renovated hotel. Decor is yesteryear. Very clean and spacious room! Bed comfort so-so. Rickety lamp. Lots of light coming through window prevents easy sleep. Self parking might be a pain."

"I loved mostly everything, friendly staff, food at the restaurant was great! Only thing was i got a poolside room and it has a smell due to moisture and no hooks in the showers to hang bathing suits! But i will say rooms are super convenient, beds were cozy and spacious! Not the actual hotel but the restaurant staff was a bit slow…all very kind but they seem unorganized..Would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel for families."

"This is a delightful old home which has been a Bed and Breakfast since 1987. I loved the wraparound porch. Room was spacious enough. Breakfast was nice: yogurt w granola and fresh fruit; croissant; 7-minute boiled eggs...same each day. I wanted to use the croquet set but we never quite got to it. Some reviews mentioned a problem with the shared bathroom if you choose one of those two rooms. I thought it was fine. Everyone was considerate. However, if you are traveling alone I wouldn't...

"Had clean room, breakfast offered and well located on Division. There were homeless near but staff indicated they had security and had not any issues."

"The Valet and restaurant staff were both excellent. The front counter staff and house keeping were horrible. Two out of five nights the housekeepers never cleaned our room or brought us fresh towels. When we called the front desk they were uninterested and of no help at all. The property is getting dated and the management and service for the price has left the building."

"We booked a River View and the room we were given overlooked the pool and ajoining building. We asked to be moved to a River View and was accommodated with an upcharge. The room was great until the HVAC unit located in the bedroom started making very loud rattling noise. Like sleeping next to a commercial washing machine. 2 hours of sleep and contacted fromt dest. A “repair” was made and everything worked fine dirimg the day but reoccurred the next night.. only 2 hrs sleep the 2 nd night....
