"Great host and breakfast, easy parking "

"The room was pleasant, well furnished, clean and tidy. My only minor complaint would be that for some reason it was very warm in the room which was surprising considering the radiator was turned off and it was late March. The staff are excellent as is the location which is literally a couple of minutes from the Main Street. The breakfast was excellent and made to order with plenty of imaginative choices. I would highly recommend as it is reasonably priced as well. "

"We booked the hotel due to food being served, when we arrived there was no food during the week and only at weekend which was not reflected on the website. Room was not as described, very small, en-suite had mould all in shower, ceiling and it was dirty. ( see photos below ). Bed was damp, cold, springs had gone in mattress, room smelt of damp, was cold, carpet dirty very worn and overall the room was dirty. "The room was spotless and amazing. This was one of our tops stays on a 2 week trip. Right in the heart of Kenmare, we parked right out front. No elevator so not ideal if you need accessibility. The beds, shower, and hotel were terrific! We took the room with a balcony which was enjoyed even in December. Highly recommend! They also have a wine bar attached and served a lovely breakfast. "

"Beautiful and peaceful location on the lake near Killarney. There is a castle ruins on the grounds and with a luck you will see some deer...we did. Room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, breakfast was great with plenty of choices to meet everyones needs. The concierge was very helpful with sightseeing recommendations. This is the perfect location for the Ring of Kerry. Highly recommended...we would definitely stay here again. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Killarney heights hotel! We had an incredible dinner after a long day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The only downside for us would be that there was no AC, we visited during a March heatwave in Ireland. The staff did provide a fan to help! There is also a nice big window you can open and it was a quiet side of town so no loud noise at night. We would love to visit again soon! "

I took a little carriage ride across the street through the park, saw the Muckross house, saw some old buildings, had some great strolls, and had fun at the spa as well.
