"A homely and welcoming colonial-era hotel that has been maintained in excellent condition. A comfortable base for Shimla with good food, good service, and extremely attentive staff. The owners live on-site and are pleased to meet and greet their guests. Would recommend strongly."

"Initially I had reservations about the location of this hotel as it seemed a bit of a way from the main town, however it is an easy and enjoyable walk to the town along a quiet and picturesque road above the hotel. "The stay in their luxury room was very comfortable. We had ordered a thin crust pizza which was delicious and nicely prepared. The buffet breakfast was having enough varieties and all with good taste. Overall a nice place to stay but amenities can be improved to spend leisure time. The seat in wash room can be a bit higher as it is bothersome if you have knee problem. The location is peaceful and is accessible via a single road from Dharampur ( about 8 kms). "
