I know it's tough to run a business, but we stayed at a nice clean Howard Johnson last week for $10 less. Such an outdated place. Rooms need a total makeover. Sink, tub, bathroom floor and mattress. Loud trucks regularly disturbing our sleep. Did not leave rested at all.

First the man at the front was rude then I went to my room and the sheets and comforter was dirty along with holes burnt in sheets and comforter. The chair in the room had dirt or something in the sit it was horrible and when I went back to tell the man at front he just said okay just leave then I tried to show him the pictures I took and he said no just leave.

The location. It’s close to the highway. The bed is good I had a good night sleep. The only issue I have when I stayed. The water that is coming out the tub and sink is brown. I’m scared to brush my teeth and take a shower with it. I had to run to the gas station to get some bottled water. I’d say the facility have seen better days.

We arrived and the office was closed. We couldn’t check in on our first day and only stayed one night. Although the room was clean, we felt like the hotel was being used for other things than just sleeping. Disappointing to say the least. The front desk when we finally checked in said they weren’t supposed to be closed, the person left early.

Older but comfortable.

Last minute decision to stop and get a room but I was getting sleepy and thought it was best. Lady working overnight shift at the front desk was really friendly. Coffee in the lobby was great! They use a Kuireg machine, which was a little surprising, but it was a kind I’d never heard of but was really good. Older motel and you can hear people talking outside. Housekeeping girls came by early knocking on the doors. I guess they wanted to wake everyone up so they would leave and the girls could get done and go home. I don’t blame them but once they knock on your door then start hollering at each other from across the parking lot, it’s hard to get back to sleep. There was something mysterious spilled on the bathroom sink counter. Looked like hair gel or conditioner?? Shower was stained, but it’s an older place and may have just been age related. I decided not to shower. Bed was comfortable and better than the pictures. I noticed little black spots on the sheets in the morning. Not sure if they were tiny bugs or some kind or odd stains. I didn’t notice anything when I got in bed and it didn’t feel like bugs were crawling. It may have just been older sheets. It honestly seemed clean and smelled good and was comfortable. Just a few small things gave me pause.
