Great hostel. Staff was amazing. Property and private room was fantastic. In between busier areas so the hostel was in a perfect location for a chill stay. 1min walk to a great beach.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Our toilet clogged and they fixed it right away, and they answered all our questions with a smile. The only downside I would say was the smell, the hotel was situated next to a junkyard of some sort, with a bridge to the beach that was a bit smelly. The hotel itself was decent, if you’re traveling alone, don’t want to spend too much and make some friends pajamas is definitely a good option. But if you’re a couple and looking for some peace and quiet, I would suggest going somewhere else, since the hotel is priced the same as some other ones that were arguably better.

Das Pajamas ist so ein tolles Hostel, super um Leute kennenzulernen, schöner Gemeinschaftsraum mit Pool, leckeres Frühstück, Personal freundlich, direkt nebenan leckeres Restaurant, von dem man sich die Gerichte auch ins Hostel bestellen kann, Lage direkt am Strand, kleines Badezimmer in den Hostelzimmern, einfach alles!

Nice property. I stayed in the hostel dorms. They were clean and good AC which was nice. Walkway to the beach and a clean swimming pool. Staff was friendly.

The buffet breakfast was very good each morning (although I did get food poisoning from it one morning!!), bathrooms have hair dryers, there’s free drinking water, pool is good and the common area is a nice place to hang out. 2 minute walk to the beach is also perfect!

Definitely worth a stay! Modern, super clean and close to the beach. Restaurant next door is amazing with a huge selection of Thai and western food. Very relaxed vibe in the evening, loads of books, playstation ang games to enjoy if you dont want to party! Definetly one of the best hostels ive stayed at in thailand!!

We are a family with two teens and stayed in Pajamas for 4 nights. We loved the family room, the facilities and the relaxed atmosphere. It’s right by the loveliest beach on the island, just a 1 minute walk away. A good breakfast is included in the price and served in the restaurant right next door. Would recommend Pajamas to anyone who is not looking for a fancy resort style hotel but enjoys a good atmosphere, great facilities, a clean room and a lovely beach on your doorstep.

Good but not for the price you pay

Nice hostel with good common areas and fab pool. Decent WiFi,good amount of locker space under the bed and space in the bed area,but not a massive amount of room in the dorms otherwise. Staff were helpful and friendly. However,things to note - aircon is switched off 11-6,I knew this before staying so wasn’t a huge problem for me this stay - the nearby beach - I was on there for less than 10mins and got 8 bites in my legs,didn’t have this problem at other beaches on Koh Chang. - while the beds have curtains for privacy they are so,so thin. The person in the bed across from me had their bedlight on and curtain closed,as did I,and it was so bright it was if there was no curtain and the main light was on,meant I couldn’t sleep until they switched it off. - there is really not very much at all around the hostel,I only stayed 1 night then went to lonely beach which is a good 20 mim drive away - I also noticed the minivan they advertise to go back to Bangkok is 700 baht, I booked the same one in lonely beach for 600. It had a slightly longer journey since lonely beach is a bit further down the island and is the exact same minivan as we stopped to make a pickup at the hostel! Overall it’s an decent hostel but not for the price, I think it’s ridiculously overpriced! I’ve paid the same amount in more expensive countries and gotten a lot more for my money.
