"I enjoyed the Hollywood Casino overall. However, this is the first time I've stayed at a place that didn't have a single option for a hot breakfast at any of the restaurants. The lone exception was 99 Hops, but they only served from 8-11 am on Saturday and Sunday. That's not much help for Sunday night through Wednesday stay. I ended up having to drive to a local Denny's 10 minutes away for breakfast. I'll likely stay at Ameristar next time, since I know they do have breakfast options available."

"I am rather unhappy with the hotel as well as my room. The floor that I have been assigned a room has a horrible chemical small which I'm sure is unhealthy.( newly painted walls.. floor molding not yet replaces. Looks shabby… .. my room is at the end of the hall so I had to breathe the fumes all the way. Bathroom slider door does not open all the way and when it was open it blocked access to the room door safety lock. No real closet > only a curtain in front of the back wall with a bit of room to hang clothing. Room and bathroom much smaller than other Hampton inns . This is Not the welcome nor the room that I expected from a Hampton inn for which I paid a premium price for an upscale hotel."

"Breakfast was good but sofa bed was horrendous! I could feel springs and had to put sofa cushions over the bed with bottom sheet over the mattress to sleep. I'm sorry I have to give the hotel a bad review..."

"When booking this hotel, I knew I wasn't going to get the Four Seasons, but I was really hopeful that it would work for our weekend stay. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the front desk and allowed to check in to the room about an hour early! Stepping into the room, I got a little nervous, though. The whole room (and building) is clearly very old and haven't always had perfect maintainence. I forgot this fact and I was shocked when the place wasn't perfectly fresh. After consideration, though, it looked quite cozy considering the type of building and the price point I booked it at. The blankets have clearly been used many times, but were perfectly clean and ready to go. The furniture had some minor wear and tear, but were still perfectly good for use. The electric out lets were kind of inconvenient for my companions who use a CPAP machine to sleep. The outlets were either behind the beds (which could easily be moved) or on the opposite side of the bed from the nightstand. We made it work just fine, though. The bathroom is small and well used, but clean and tidy. Heads up, they do not provide a hair dryer, so be prepared! The kitchen was small, but usable. It had a gas stove, oven, microwave, and fridge/freezer. It doesn't come stocked with cooking utensils, but they are available for loan/purchase at the front desk. My biggest fear when seeing the old building was that it would have bugs, which happened at a previous stay at a completely dif"
