"The hotel was great overall — clean, comfortable, and with excellent service. Everything was very good, but I was surprised that the room didn’t have a coffee maker. Having coffee in the room is a small convenience that makes a big difference, especially in the morning. For that reason, I would give the hotel 4 stars."

"Nice hotel with good breakfast. Right next to a supermarket as well. 15mins or so bus into main Lucerne. Buses are every 30min. Room was simple but spacious. Good hot shower. Elaine on front desk was very welcoming. Leo at breakfast was attentive. No issues with this hotel"

"Hotel was wonderful and the price was so reasonable. It was in the middle of a quaint fortress old town just a couple of blocks from the Rhine River. It was super close to the train station. It made us feel like we were living 10 centuries ago but yet the hotel was totally updated and very comfortable. Would love to go back."

"A unique setting in a beautiful area. The hotel is located right next to the Rhine River in a scenic location where the river moves rapidly with a soothing sound. The view also includes a small island that is a pedestrian park. The surrounding historic center city is well preserved and gives you a real feeling for what the area looked like in the Middles Ages. Furnishings are dimple but comfortable. The hotel restaurant is good, but expensive, and there are many other dining choices nearby. The local thermal springs spa at Sole Uno is one of the best in Europe."
