"The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel in general was very boutique with some lovely old features, such as the lift. The situation on the hotel is very convenient for walking into the centre. My only comment would be the breakfast could be improved."

Finally one attendant sorted it all out when he found out, and in the end didn’t charge me for the meal. Kind of a downer because there’s a lot of spots that people can dine at so more attention needed for training here and having staff that care because your houseguests give you priority over the neighboring eateries. "This hotel is a real vibe - from the rooftop pool, to the Friday afternoon happy hour at the rooftop bar. The location is primo - right behind Howard Smith Wharves where there are plenty of dining and drinking options. Also close to Fortitude Valley and CBD - both in walking distance. The only thing I didn’t like was not enough lighting in the bathroom for makeup application. It’s very annoying when bathrooms are designed for form over function."

"Lovely sunny room on the 4th floor. Unfortunately the cafe had very limited hours so I didnt get to try but uber eats was easy and plenty of options. Room was clean and as a solo female traveller it felt safe. I will visit again. "
