"This hotel was average at best. The bathroom had mold and the fan did not keep the moisture out. When you showered the whole restroom would get wet. Hotel staff were kind but seemed bothered when asking for assistance. Overall average, great location to access all that Shibuya to offer."

"I booked the Knot for my brother and my mom on their trip to Japan. Their trip was broken into three parts - I booked the Knot for their initial stay and at the end of their Japan tour. On the initial stay - they had rave reviews. The food, stay, etc. exceeded their expectations. However, the bathroom in the room has a step and this was at times challenging for my mom who has mobility issues. Other than that, they loved their stay. The issue was their last leg of the trip. When they returned to the hotel they had a new room. My mom described this room as a makeshift closet - dusty, dirty, small and noisy. It is interesting because I paid a greater amount for this night as it landed on a weekend but it made their overall experience terrible and they left feeling they would never go back again. It is really unfortunate because I think it depends on what room you get and clearly that’s a Wild card. "

"Clean rooms with amazing views if you can get high floor. Would definitely recommend asking for room facing away from shinjuku train station as the noise is quite loud, even on high floor (stayed on 28). Soak-in tub and beds are great!"
