"Smooth check-in and check-out process. Very fast. Front office staff are very well trained and efficient. Hotel just next door to JB City Square Mall. Very convenient to look for food after even after midnight. As there are lots of 24hrs restaurants around the area. You won't be hungry.... LOL. Oh yes, there also a barber shop downstairs"

"Hotel windows were dirty n unwashed. Tried to catch a nice view of city but all I see were thick coat of brown dirt on the outside of window. Toilets were clean but badly maintained. Taking showers would cause outside floor to be wet. Low quality toilet roll. Hotel policy does not allow extra toilet floor mat, notwithstanding toilet floor being wet. No extra pillows even if you have a medical condition that requires you to sleep with some elevation."

"We really enjoyed our stayed here at Sheraton JB. All the staffs services were excellent. We had a twin bedrooms and King bedroom adjourned together. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We also had the buffet breakfast for both days. Just a little suggestion on the Nasi lemak rice can have some improvement."

"The bunks are built into the walls and very sturdy. The mattress is asian firm, with a thick duvet which is useful as the AC is strong. The bunk also has a privacy curtain, a private light and an electrical socket. There were also 2 USB socket, but they were broken. There's a locker under the bed, which could fit my small backpack and a small suitcase. You'll need a padlock though. There were separate bathrooms for boys and girls. The boys shared bathroom had shower rooms and combined toilet/shower rooms. The wooden doors to the showers are suffering from rot, while the shower walls have signs of mould. There's also no air conditioning, so it gets hot and sweaty after a shower. A hair dryer was provided in the showers. The hotel is close to the main sights of Johor Bahru. All of these were with in easy walking distance: the Old Temple of Johor Bahru; Skyscape; JB Sentral and City Square. There's also a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel and a cafe next door. Other than the bathroom condition, the only thing I didn't like were the unfriendly the staff. They're not particularly happy or welcoming. Otherwise, I was happy with the stay as the bunks are clean and comfortable. That's all I needed for a 1 day visit to the city"
