"Great property located in the heart of Hobart cbd. The Hotel building is very unique and is an actual historic colonial home. We can’t fault it at all and will definitely come back and stay there in the future."

"The buffet breakfast was lovely every day and the room service was of a high standard. The staff at the hotel were very warm and welcoming. The hotel is centrally located near the harbour and major tourist attractions are not far away. Easy walk to the CBD and the Salamanca Markets on a Saturday. Great restaurants within walking distance, and the SkyWays Bus to the airport stops right outside. Would definitely stay again when we return to Hobart."

"We stayed in the motor inn, which is basically the motel side of the luxury resort. We were given access to the luxury resort facilities like the spa and restaurants (I'm sure the casino too), which we can't complain. As our stay was a last minute thing, we didn't find good options in CBD Hobart nor Battery Point, but this location turned out to be only minutes' drive away, we are very happy we snatched a last minute deal from here. (Our price was so competitive, even comparable to a hostel stay in CBD). Good in-room amenities (particularly excellent hot chocolate mix). Spacious room. I was surprised that there was no elevator (because of elevation gaps for different parts of the building, we were practically on the third floor) , and the parking lot for the motor inn didn't seem particularly well- maintained."

"An extremely beautiful property. Great history. Well maintainted, but with modern amenities. Parking was convenient and affordable. The bar in the evenings was great, with live music, great drinks, and a lovely setting. I just wished they'd not charge extra for an already pricey breakfast for a formally made latte or espresso."
