"This hotel maintains the high standards of Steigenberger. There is pride in the craft, thus the staff are helpful, professional, and pleasant. It is a little island (Insel) refuge, and pays homage in many ways to its origin as a Dominican cloister. Get a room facing the Bodensee for the full experience, and always include the breakfast!"
"This was a really nice clean hotel, situated a short distance from the train station, next to the main pedestrian area. We booked a family room, which was a large room with a sofa which converted into a double bed. Breakfast was provided which although was a small selection, it was sufficient.
The town itself was beautiful with amazing architecture. I would highly recommend anyone visiting this region, to take the time to visit Meersburg which is a medieval town on the shores of Lake Constance."
"All rooms and common area were very well maintained. Garage in the basement was very convenient. Great location as one can cross a pedestrian bridge to old town"
"After a week and a half of staying in chain hotels, this was a refreshing and charming change. It's in a very old building but the rooms are clean and modern. The single room with a private bathroom had a very small toilet, but apart from that it is excellent."
"The breakfast was superb and the hotel is in a great location. The front desk staff, the you guy - was super helpful and great customer service. The only problem was no air conditioning in the hotel at all."
"Sauberes Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet und sehr nettes Personal. Allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr weiche Matratzen und Milchglasschiebetür zum Bad."
