"Wow! Such a unique place to stay! We were first greeted by such kind staff and received very thorough information! Then took the original style elevator up to our room! Such an incredible touch to really enhance the style of the hotel! The rooms were clean and very comfortable beds! There is a few clubs in the area as well as a rooftop bar at the hotel but the solid wood doors make it so you can’t hear anything while in your room! Huge points for that! "I had a few days of holiday before conference but not much money. I chose the mixed gender 20-pod room and had no regrets. You get a twin bed with a curtain, some side space,/ and a locked cupboard. Showers and toilet stalls fairly private and usually clean. Everyone in the room was quiet and respectful. Pod was cozy. The breakfast is good and affordable. Staff are really nice. I’m a plus-size woman in my 40s btw. I had an upper bunk/pod. No regrets on this stay! "

"The staff is very helpful, and my room was huge and included a FULL kitchen with 4-burner stove (I didn't ask for that and am not sure how many rooms have that). The hotel is near the Victoria and Albert Waterfront, one of the most fun and safe places in town to wander around (although it's a full 15 mins walk away, and you can't really safely do that walk after dark; the hotel will suggest that you take a taxi)."
