"Our accommodations had plenty of room, was clean, nice restaurant on property with polite staff. Dog friendly first floor room so easy access to outside. Easy to walk to places too. Very nice!"
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort
8/10 Good
"This is a beautiful resort, but an older one so the interior is a bit dated, especially on the lower levels. The beds and furniture seem al little newer and are comfortable. The a/c unit in the room we had was extremely noisy and the curtains were not dark enough but that in particular is a personal preference. Hotel staff are professional and accommodating, however some are not aware of the policies (We had paid for our trip on Expedia in full aside from the resort fees so I called to ask if there was anything additional that we would need to pay such as a damage deposit and was told no, however, a credit card is needed for the damage deposit and you aren't able to provide that in cash as we found out when we checked in.) The entry to the public pools was not monitored during our visit and so anyone can just walk from the road to the pools, not shower or clean their feet off and go in. It was a little concerning for me to see as other springs that I have been to this is heavily regulated and you aren't allowed in the facilities without paying and showering. There was a line for resort guests as usage is included in your stay but totally unnecessary when you can just walk in the regular entrance. The guest-only pool was also not monitored so again, no showering. Some included activities: mini putt and you can rent tubes to enjoy a lazy river experience. We did the tubing: Ava and Becc are amazing staff and went above and beyond - highlight of our trip, highly recommend!"

"We liked the room as it was clean and has new amenities. The only exception was a noisy air conditioner that didn't cool the room until the middle of the night. The hallway carpets could use a cleaning. We had a good breakfast in the restaurant. Did not use any other amenities."
