"This is more of a bed and breakfast place rather than a hotel. There are 9 rooms on three floors with no elevator, which could be an issue for some. There is a restaurant attached to hotel, which served a nice breakfast, otherwise there is no seating area. I found the room to be rather dated. Shower head was old although gave good pressure. No complimentary water In the room. Air conditioning worked but again felt a bit old (weird smell from it in bedroom). Staff seemed nice enough. I think...

For a hotel charging luxury rates, the local staff were consistently unfriendly, unhelpful, and at times came across as vindictive when we raised concerns or asked for assistance. "The Hotel staff was very kind and friendly. The room was well appointed. The breakfast was pretty disappointing. The biggest issue is that the hotel is next to a bar/restaurant but every night played very loud music until 1 AM. The hotel is lovely and a great location. Again the staff was terrific, but unfortunately, I could not recommend because of the terrible noise level and I do think for a four star hotel, they should do something about that and improve the quality of their food."
