Good Venue

We stayed as was close to Venue for wedding we attended. Accept the all inclusive is not ‘evertyhing’,however, the quality of food and excellent and friendly staff made up for any shortcomings. We weee I one of the newer rooms at rear of complex which was excellent

Quality hotel in Kos

Really nice and helpful staff, hotel has excellent food and bar, pool is nice for kids. Small walk to beach and maybe 10-15 minutes to Kos Town. All in all well worth the stay if you like spending time at the hotel as well as doing some time in the center. Extra plus for the bar personell, and great drinks for all ages!

Well thought out rooms and lovely gardens.

Small enough to be friendly, family run hotel. Staff took a personal interest in you. Any one off requests or room issues were managed quickly and efficiently. Nice peaceful setting with many tavernas close by. Would stay here again and they have many repeat guests. Awesome breakfast pancakes. Sun loungers were comfy and plenty of shaded areas with extra seating. Pillows a bit on the firm side but they have softer ones (on request.)

Good all inclusive option with nice staff

Nicely laid our hotel and gardens not far from the beach with family-friendly atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and accomodating and there is plenty to do including a games room (slightly dated but functional), ping pong table, board games, cards and tennis courts along with the pool. Discounted bike rental just down the road was a fun bonus and there is a little shop next door for extra drinks, sun cream, ice creams etc. Food was fine - nothing special but good value. Only a couple of small negatives - Wifi was non-existent in the room - only really worked in main hotel area and poolside and the tv was badly tuned. Overall a great stay and good for a budget-conscious family break.

The hotel is far from the harbour (about 2 km). It is very modern on the outside and the pool was really nice and so was the outdoors fitness space. The room was pretty simple but nice, and had a laptop in it.

Good hotel gym, that’s about it.

Grounds look great. Pool clean and medium size. Room is dated and plain. Breakfast is ample and plain. Neighborhood is “in middle of nowhere”, need taxi/bike to go anywhere, probably good for joggers but not interested. Gym is best feature of hotel with dumbbells up to 25kg and a smith machine with 130kg of plates. Gym is on rooftop and open air. If you just want a gym and pool with no beach this is your place. Otherwise there is a good gym next to the beach in Kos City.

Geweldig all inclusive hotel!

Het hotel heeft iets weg van een bungalowpark: er staan allemaal rijtjeshuisjes en appartementen over het grote terrein verspreid. Er is een tennisbaan aanwezig en een zwembad, al is die in het najaar wel koud (hij wordt niet verwarmd). Er is een bar waar je tot 23:00 gratis kunt drinken en een spelletjeshoek, al moet je daar wel geld inwerpen. Het hotel ligt 5 minuten lopen van een grote straat die naar de stad leidt en ertegenover is een winkel waar je fietsen en scooters kunt huren. Het eten is overigens niet erg lekker, maar dat is algemeen bekend over all-inclusive hotels, dus daar kun je niet een vijf sterrenmaal verwachten.

A nice hotel- great service.

Lovely hotel and grounds. 20 minute walk from the centre of town or 10 minutes to the beach. A variety of free drinks included in the price and the food was quite good too. Any problems I had were dealt with- I did have to call reception to get them to turn the music down in the bar after midnight but it was turned down. You might want to get a room away from the pool if you're easily disturbed- mine was a way back though! There was a major problem regarding the payment which was an inconvenience but the manager was extremely helpful and couldn't have done more to help over the next few weeks to sort it out.

En av de bästa hotellen jag någonsin besökt! Jag skulle stanna där 2 dagar, slutade med att jag stannade 4. Levererar mycket mer än vad den är betygsatt som, redan vid entreen kände man säg välkomnad och lugn i deras härliga atmosfär samt service. Rummet var helt okey, rent & enkelt, det som lyfte denna hotell var deras pool, bar, restaurang och service. Maten var fantastiskt god, med stor variation. Poolen öppen, stor och fräsch! Baren mysig, med stort utbud och härliga drinkar. Allt jag behövde, hjälpte hotellet mig med. boka bil, tipsa om bra ställen. Personalen är trevliga och extremt professionella, med en varm härlig inställning.

Great little Hotel... relaxing and friendly

Second time here and we enjoyed it even better than the first. Best part of the hotel is the small team of staff, they make you feel like the only guest and nothing is too much trouble. leanliness is second to none.... from rooms to the communal areas it is all very clean. Would recommend this as more of an “adult” hotel and would not recommend for small children although it does have a playground but there is no “animation team” so you make your own (which actually makes it better for adults looking for a quieter hotel). All inclusive option includes beer, wine, ouzo, brandy, rum and tequila. Meals are all buffet food there is a good selection and we always found something to eat, although can be sometimes warm rather than hot, but think that is due to been a small hotel with not a lot of guests (so food can be out for some time)... however I wouldn’t let this put you off. Room was reasonable size (not massive) bu big enough and we also rented a fridge for 20 Euros for the week. Again clean and the towels were replaced regularly. Pool is nice and not freezing . There is also a ping pong table and pool table. Located down a side street but only a couple of minutes walk to bars and shops (Konstantinos supermarket at top of road is fabulous and cheaper booze/cigarettes than duty free at Kos airport – they also have a nice boutique...). Beach is also about 5 minutes away. All in all would highly recommend and we will be returning.

Top hotel

Positief: Zeer aangenaam verblijf. Goede keuken. Vriendelijk personeel. Negatief: De bar zou zogezegd sluiten rond 11u, maar soms hoor je om 2u 's nachts nog steeds muziek en lawaai. Als je dicht bij het zwembad logeert, is dat wel storend. Het altijd terugkerende probleem van handdoeken leggen om zetels te reserveren!

Amazing stay!

Customer service was amazing! The front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. The chef went above and beyond preparing a plate of food for our son with severe food allergies, on his own accord! The grounds are charming, you truly feel you are walking through a garden! The pool was very clean with plenty of lounge chairs, shade or sun. Rent the bikes down the way for a day and go see the Anckent Greek ruins on the island!

Beautiful and relaxing

The hotel was beautiful with really friendly staff. Unfortunately we didin't spend much time at the hotel, and if you're planning to travel to kos town . Hire a bike or a scooter it takes around 10 minutes to town. Taxi can be a bit of a hassle sometimes especially if you are in a hurry, sometime it takes long time for them to show up. But most of the times they show up in 3 mins. Overall the food, the service and the general area of the hotel is really great. And karen at the recepetion is the friendliest person you'll ever meet!

Decent stay

Great staff. Gave us a complementary buffet dinner. The room itself was pretty old, toilet was really difficult to flush. Tv also worked but buzzed so loud from broken speakers it couldn't be used... cheap bike rental across the street. Decent value for money, but not sure I wouldn't choose something a little nicer.

Great value! Lots of bang for your buck.

When you think of lower cost hotels, you don't expect much, but that's not the case with a lot of hotels on some Greek Isles, and is definitely not the case at Gaia Gardens. I was surprised how much this hotel had to offer. Amenities included: amazing breakfast included in price, nice gym with a great view, nice pool area, tennis court, basketball court, playground, and lots of nice areas with chairs, hammocks, etc. to lay back and read a novel. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times, and the walk to the closest supermarket (4 minutes) and walk to town (20 minutes) were easy and pleasant.

Nicht unbedingt die schlechteste Wahl.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen, deshalb sollte man sich auf jeden Fall ein Transportmittel wie Auto, Quad, Fahrrad für die Zeit zulegen, da es sonst ein längerer Fußmarsch wird. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen. Unzufriedenheit lässt sich nur an der Rezeption finden, da beispielsweise Taxibestellungen nicht getätigt werden, Extrawünsche nur ungern erfüllt werden und ein entgegenkommen des höheren Personals schwierig ist, besonders bei Gästen unter 30. Die Hotelanlage ist generell recht groß, der Pool ist schön und sauber. Wie der Name schon sagt gibt es viel Flora, das insgesamt zwar schön ist aber gleichzeitig schade weil dadurch kaum Licht in die Zimmer kommt und es auch tagsüber dunkel ist. Handtücher werden nicht automatisch gewechselt, lediglich wenn sie auf dem Boden liegen, jedoch gibt es keinen Hinweis darauf und die Bitte von neuen Handtüchern nach dem Zimmerservice stellt sich als unnötig kompliziert dar. Das Wlan-Netz deckt nicht die gesamte Anlage ab, funktioniert nur wenn man sich unmittelbar in Rezeptionsnähe befindet und man muss sich alle 20Min neu einloggen. Generell handelt es sich also um ein durchschnittliches Hotel, für das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis definitv akzeptabel. Die Insel bietet jedoch auch in dieser Preisklasse durchaus mehr.

Ruhiges Hotel in wunderschöner Gartenanlage

Im Oktober 2014. Hotel noch gut gebucht. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Saubere und große Zimmer. Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Ca. 400m zum Strand. Stadtbushaltestelle zum alten Hafen ca. 200m.
