"We stayed here for the first time and will come back due to the great food, nice spa area, and sensible pricing. The room was also spacious, but it did not quite hit the 5 star rating with the interior feeling a bit clinical. The other thing was that you have to reserve the spa area for two hours and I'm not sure if that's the limit or you have to pay extra after. Would also expect earlier opening than 10am."

"Een fijne plek om onderweg te stoppen. We verbleven in een ruime kamer en waren voornemens gebruik te maken van de spa faciliteiten. Helaas ging de spa pas om 1500 open en toen waren wij allang weg.
We hebben in het restaurant van het hotel gegeten, traditionele gerechten uit de streek, het was lekker en de bediening was goed.
Het ontbijt was top, er was voor mij ook glutenvrij brood.
Kortom een prima plek om te overnachten."

"Had a great stay at the Kiwi. Darina, the owner, offered to fetch me at the train station and drove me to her pension. No charge.
The room was clean, comfortable, and neatly appointed.
Breakfast (not included) was very good: eggs, sausages, bread, fruit, etc. There’s a nice supply of beer, wine, and other beverages in a cooler.
The place is about a 15 minute walk to the main square. Darina also arranged for my use of an ebike (not included.)
When I checked out, Darina’s husband drove me...

"Although the receptionist didn’t speak any English, between google translate and point and smiling, we were checked in early and shown around the hotel. The breakfast was good.
Our room had an awkward shower/tub set up with no shower curtain, but we made the best of it. I think this is a very popular hotel as the weather warms up because there’s a popular road cycling trail and Straznice is central on that map. We were only here two nights, but there’s a couple real good bakeries across the...
