"I travel a lot. Best check in ever! I don't know the gentleman's name, but super funny! Told him I HAD to put this part of my stay in my review. Easy check in, lots of parking, clean pool, playground, picnic tables, grill should you want it & the hiking mountains are very close (why we were in the area). We were on the 2nd floor and it was so very quiet. Rooms and stairwells definitely need some updating, but very clean. Bed I found was really comfortable. Restaurant next door is convenient....

"This was my fifth year staying here for my September vacation. Rooms are spotless staff is very attentive. I plan on recording next year if not sooner. Bear in mind that this is an old property but has a certain charm all its own. Good Wi-Fi, cable, larger refrigerators than you would expect. Beautiful area..."

"Basic motel totally renovated with simple but stylish furnishings. No one on premises but instant reply via text when we had trouble opening the keypad upon a return to the room. Nice location. Noise (from maybe kitchen fans at night from nearby restaurant ) took away from the quiet lawn setting with lots of Adirondack chairs. "This place is, in the best possible way, a blast from the past! A nice, quaint roadside motel with a mountain vibe! Great views of the Catskills from the small hill where there’s a fire pit and Adirondack chairs for relaxation and lounging. Re-read Rip Van Winkle after a fantastic dinner at Deer Mountain Inn as it got dark looking upon the mountains where the story took place. Picturesque and perfect! Had the entire motel to myself and it was so nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful...
