"I had read all of the negative reviews AFTER booking the trip, so I was extremely apprehensive about staying there given what I had read about air conditioning going out in the middle of the night and broken power outlets. But when I got there, everything seemed to work fine. Room looked a little run down, but nothing abhorrent. Carpet was sticky in places and the TV looked about 20 years old, but nothing that made me want to pack up and leave. The location was perfectly set in downtown, and with a price I don’t think you could beat. It basically felt like a discount Embassy Suites, at a discount price. We would consider staying there again. Also… we parked around the corner after reading about how awful the valet parking system was. Overall it was an acceptable hotel at that price point"
