"We chose Palmerston area rather than Darwin itself for convenience to where we needed to be. Also it was much more reasonably priced and the reviews of Darwin city hotels were generally pretty low whereas Rydges had rave reviews. We can see why. We have stayed in many hotels both in Oz and overseas and Rydges Palmerston was right up there with the best. Everything was spotless and each detail meticulously cared for. It’s worth visiting for the amazing indigenous artwork on all walls alone....

"Room was great for the price, access to BBQ and utensils for cooking which worked fine, pool was nice. Room itself was at a good temperature with both air conditioning and the fan working well. Would stay again if in Darwin"
