"It has character, as do all small independent accommodations. Its an expensive time of year,.$135 for a room with shared bathroom is therefore acceptable. The mens bathroom on second floor, is however, gross. I went in with clothes change and towels in a plastic bag, for fear of them touching the suspiciously slimy walls and floor. A very clean and well appointed room and bathroom - with access to lovely verandas and seating; beautiful living spaces with a cosy fire (and good conversation); a clean and very useable kitchen with a wonderful breakfast, and good food options within walking distance.
