The docks in the old town of Lidk?ping, southern Sweden, might not be the prettiest sight in the world, but it is my hometown and will always mean a lot to me. The town of Lidk?ping is about 600 years old and still a market town which once made it famous. The word "k?ping" in the name means "market town." Lid" comes from the river Lidan which dvides the town in to the old part and the new part. Photo courtesy of my father.
