"Was a quick overnight .. clean room pleasant stay .. only thing I could remark on is there were no tissues so I had to use toilet paper , very minor !!"

"Everything about our stay at the Volkshotel was incredible! The staff are all very kind, and we had access to everything we needed in our room. It's a very cool place with a very cool vibe. Locals work coop there, and come back in the evening to party. The food is amazing as well. We had only one complaint! Possibly it was a glitch in the matrix. The hot tubs weren't hot! They appear awesome at first glance: on rooftop, overlooking the city, ready access to sauna. But they were all about 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius). You could never get warm with the temperature below body temperature! I had to satisfy my hot water needs with a shower in the room (which are also of very high quality)."

"Perfect location! The rooms are small but to be expected in the city center, however they are the perfect size for 2 travels. Comfortable beds, great location, nice clean rooms. Lovely staff as well!"

"The BEST location you can ask for. Right across the street from the train station, we were able to navigate Amsterdam seamlessly! Property was secure, well kept, and had great customer service. If considering a trip to Amsterdam, I would book this one; my family will be doing the same."

"Gave only 4 stars because when I went to check in, they told us were staying next door in the Residence Inn. It was part of the Corendon Hotel. But after hauling in all our luggage after a long day of traveling, then standing in a long line to be told we needed to check in the next door hotel, didn't make us very happy. Residence Inn room was like a studio apt but huge and was sparkly clean. We had to go next door to the Corendon to buy beer & snacks. Didn't feel up to eating at Corendon restaurant. Definitely, would stay there again. Note: There is a hotel shuttle to hotel from airport (no ticket req'd, however, it costs 5 euro from hotel to airport. You can purchase online or at front desk."
