"Amazing experience at a beautiful hotel and town. It is a little outside of Amsterdam but is a convenient town with eateries, cafes, pharmacy, electric charging stations, and close to the windmills. Worth the drive to the chill atmosphere of Middenbeemster. Would recommend!"

"The rooms were clean but very small. The breakfst was good and the staff did an excelent job of managing the high guest count on accoount of the business confrence that was going on in town that drew crowds from around the world. Very close to the train station (2 minute walk) that makes it easy to take the train into Amsterdam Central. Would come back again. Zaandam is a beautiful city."

"We had a pleasant two nights stay at this hotel. The bedroom is nice and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel location is two stations outside the center of Amsterdam. The staff so kind and very helpfull. Cons : When we wanted very early morning to check out, the elevator and lift near hotel wasn't working, so we had to walk around a bit far to the station because we were carrying two large suitcases and we couldn't use the stairs. "The Movenpic was the perfect place to stay pre-cruise. Even though we arrived early for check-in, my husband was feeling unwell and the staff was wonderful to find a room where we could go immediately and he could lie down. We appreciated the kindness of the staff and the convenience to the cruise port. It is also quite convenient to downtown Amsterdam, we were just unable to take advantage of that on this trip.
